Able Data were contracted to install a 2,000 outlet data cabling system on a single floor of AXA’s newly refurbished office.
Able Data installed a flood wired Commscope SYSTIMAX GigaSPEED XL Cat6 cabling system, presenting the outlets in 3-port/4-port under floor outlet boxes, each connected to the end of five meters of flexible copex. Most of the cabling was under floor, supported on Corex Cable matting over the main routes. A challenge of the installation was the density of cabling required. 1,000 outlets were terminated in each of the two cabinets using high density 48-way M4800 1U modular patch panels.
Able Data also installed 8x Excel equipment Cabinets.
