Project Description
The Bank of China, the world’s fourth largest bank, moved into its new flagship City office at One Lothbury, premises which are opposite to the Bank of England and occupy one of the City’s most iconic buildings.

Before The Bank of China could move in, Able Data were contracted to install a new structured cabling system. The project involved the installation of 5,000 outlets over 12 floors, including the cabling of a dealing area on the sixth floor. Each floor has its own patch room, all connected to the main computer room through a diversely routed copper and OM3 fibre backbone. A feature of the project was the building of a Cannon cold aisle solution within the computer room, significantly reducing the costs of cooling the data centre.
